Workshop Instructors
Bartow Art Guild is seeking instructors to lead workshops, multi-session classes, and lectures at our Art Gallery in Bartow. We are currently seeking instructors for adult classes in Jan - April 2024. Sessions may be held during the day or in the evening, depending on classroom availability.

Rendezvous Reflections
This is an OPEN CALL for original artwork depicting life in Pre-1840 America. 2D work includes but is not limited to Plein Air, studio work, photographs, mixed media, block prints, and fiber. 3D works depicting period life, art, and crafts may also be entered. This is a juried exhibit with cash prizes and ribbons.
Specifications:
Entry: Each artist may enter no more than three pieces for consideration by the jury.
Jury fee: $30 for 1, 2, or 3 pieces.
Entry deadline: Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 11:59pm.
Jury invitations: March 31.
Art Intake: Wednesday, April 3, 4pm to 7pm.
Exhibit Open to Public: Every Saturday in April, 10am to 4pm.
Reception: Monday, April 8, 6pm to 8:30pm.
Art Pickup: Saturday, April 27, 4pm to 7pm.
Sales: Artists are encouraged to price their artwork for sale. Bartow Art Guild will retain 10% on all sales to cover its expenses.
Content: This is a family friendly event, so content must be appropriate for all ages. Bartow Art Guild reserves the right to reject any work that does not follow this protocol.
Originality: Artwork must be made by the artist and not created with AI or computer-generated algorithms.
