Steampunk Art Exhibit

Bartow Art Guild invites Florida artists at least 18 years of age to submit entries for the second annual Steampunk Art Exhibit. The jury will select works to be exhibited and our judge will announce cash prizes at the reception on Dec 9, 2024. The exhibit will be held at the Bartow Art Guild gallery.
Entry & Jury Procedure
Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces for judging. Entry fee is nonrefundable, $40 for nonmember, $30 for member. All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm Nov 8, 2024. Entry must be submitted via designated online entry form, which includes image upload and payment.

Artwork Intake: Sat, Nov 16 (10am – 1pm) NO SHIPPING
Show Opens: Sat, Nov 23
Opening Reception, Awards & Judge’s Critique: Mon, Dec 9, 6:00 – 7:30 pm
Show Close & Artwork Pickup: Sat, Dec 28 (1pm – 4pm)
Specifications and Restrictions
Only original artwork will be considered. Original artwork must be made by the artist, and not created using AI or computer-generated algorithms.
2D pieces must be properly wired for hanging, with wires secured 1/3 down from top of frame and sufficiently taught to prevent picture from leaning away from wall and prevent hanging wire from showing above the frame. No sawtooth hangers. Maximum 2D width is 36”. 3D pieces cannot exceed 28” in any direction.
Sale of artwork is encouraged. A commission fee of 20% will be charged for works sold during the show. Works are to be priced as stated on the entry form; works that are not for sale must be marked NFS on the entry. Sales will be handled by Bartow Art Guild; artists will be paid by check at conclusion of exhibit. Purchased works may not be removed before show close.
We are unable to accept shipped artwork; intake and pickup must be in person.
Bartow Art Guild reserves the right to reproduce accepted work for promotional purposes.
While every effort in security and caution will be taken, Bartow Art Guild and Bartow Public Library will not be liable for work in transit or during the exhibition. Artist must sign Loan Agreement prior to hanging. Accepted work must remain on display through the end of the show and picked up according to the schedule.
