Emergence: The Art of Unfolding the Mystery Within
For transformational coach, poet, and creative rebel Ericson AF Proper, the journey of emergency is just that - a step into the unknown, an embrace of mystery, and an invitation for others to do the same. After a three-decade career in branding and graphic design, coupled with the transformational experience of burnout and a severe spinal injury, Proper's artistic path took on new life.
Paper: Materiality & Manipulation
Paper is ubiquitous yet rarely considered beyond its ability to hold pigments in a two-dimensional format. The fibers used to create it yield different types of paper that lend themselves well to varied forms of 3-dimensional art. This exhibition will explore the materiality of paper and its metamorphic qualities whether cast, cut, collage, folded, twisted, quilled, woven, stitched, or otherwise manipulated.
